How to get

From Guatemala City take the highway CA-9 North, towards Puerto Barrios, which is approximately 300 kilometers away. Arriving at Puerto Barrios, head towards the Municipal Pier on 12th Street, to take the public boat to Livingston, which operates from Monday to Sunday from 6:30 am to 7:30 am, 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The boat trip takes approximately 30 minutes. Already in Livingston, you can rent a private boat to Cayo Quemado, in the same public pier. The trip could take about 35 minutes.
